Massage & Body Oil Projects

Develop a massage oil for your brand and customer

Start with the intended use, formula brief and finished product format.

A massage oil is a finished application-led product, not simply another name for an undiluted essential oil. PanPan Aroma supports massage and body oil project discussions for brand customers through partner manufacturers. Define your target user, desired sensory profile and selling market so the formulation, packaging and documentation can be considered together.

Write a clear formulation brief

Describe the intended area of use, texture, glide, absorption preference and scent direction. Say whether you need a fragranced or unfragranced product and identify any ingredients or material standards your brand requires. A detailed brief helps avoid evaluating unrelated samples against changing expectations.

A reference sample can communicate sensory preferences, but the proposed product still needs its own approved specification and evaluation. Avoid assuming that a concentrated aromatic material is suitable for direct skin application. The actual formula, intended use and supporting assessment determine the next checks.

Review the complete product

Ask which ingredient information, quality specifications and product documents can be supplied for the proposed formula. Establish the scope of safety, stability and packaging compatibility work required for the project and target market. Do not substitute a test on a different formula or historical sample for evidence about the new product.

Choose a bottle and dispenser that suit the intended use and handling conditions. Review leakage, dispensing, label adhesion and the assembled sample. Confirm the product name, instructions and claims before releasing artwork; a body care brief should not be expanded into unsupported medical promises.

Share the commercial requirements

Tell us the target customer, destination, estimated quantity per item, fill volume and packaging preferences. If the project includes several scents or formulas, list them separately because development and packaging requirements may differ.

The first discussion establishes the scope and sampling route. Final formula, document availability, order minimums, price and timing are confirmed for the agreed project. Brand customers should complete their own market and label review before approving production.
